Any holders??

Looking to jump into a shipping stock. Like the looks of this one and DRYS. Anyone currently holding? They sure have been beaten up.

Hi over at ssw you can find a link to a shipping conference [capital link conference] that mentions a lot of shipping companies in various sizes and financial states. navios gives a presentation.

Thanks, I'll give it a read. I've done a good share of DD on NM and DRYS. Have taken a position in both and feel very comfortable with NM. However I feel I'll be in for a ride with DRYS. I'm not trying to pick a bottom in the shippers or this market but feel prices are a acceptable risk reward.Red

As far as dryships goes , they seem to be well diversified. now that you mentioned  dryships I am going to listen to their presentation  regarding oil rigs. I guess they supply them? When the markets return for commodities and resources , they will do well I reckon. But as you say a bumpy ride till then.
