2 things. Winter road is scheduled for 2021-22 with first phase of financing. Final financing is scheduled for 2022.
They better hurry. It will be winter there very soon.
If they are planning on building the winter road, they will have to start at the Liard Highway and work their way towards the mine. How else would they be able to get the equipment in?
This will cost a lot of money and require a lot of manpower.
Are there boots on the ground? I highly doubt it.
Unless and until they announce $50-100 million in interim financing we won't see much action and another season will be lost.
I'll believe it when I see it.
