Someone mentioned Decline rates
Someone mentioned Decline ratesAlthough only at a high level one can get a feel for the subject in the Q2 vs Q1 boepd. No new wells brought on in qtr and of course timing of tie-ins in Q1 would affect that average (also some third party disruptions in Q2 which are unquantified) but natgas AVERAGE declined 10% and oil 17% Q/Q. It is now back to Q1 levels apparently.
Yangchang has the backing of a big province-backed conglomerate of sorts from what I see and has stated that it is process of broadening international operations.
Anyway it is all out of our control. The books were opened to all parties in january(?) and in Aug they had these exclusive negotiations ongoing (why make them exclusive...???). As I said, I'd be pleased that it is consummated at ANY price as the alternative would be miserable..
