It's a small oil patch...

so I keep circling back to old ideas - RRX (new high again today) will either use its inflated paper to buy NVS or itself be bought at an inflated price by CPG - or Teine will eventually get around to spending its 300m on NVS - or LEG over-reaches for NVS - or WCP? or LST? or NVS just moves on...

What exactly would you like them to do right now to make things better, assuming they're still negotiating and feel they can close a deal?

assuming is all one can do at this point . an AGM.  any time soon ?q2 numbers  ? is your optimism as strong as ever?  what about a potential pricepoint , seems the bar is getting lowered .

Pokerchamp you ask, 'What exactly would you like them to do right now to make things better'. A statement with what has been happening, 'has there been interest, has there been offer(s), that even with the sale process, we are operating as normal' (minus the AGM).  They don't have to go into detail.  But leaving the market in the dark is unacceptable.  Nobody ...more

I understand your frustration, however I have a different take on things. 1.  We must assume that the Board is acting in the best interest of shareholders and the company.  Anyone who doesn't trust the Board should probably sell. 2.  They did release Q1 and will release Q2 tomorrow, so we (will) know EXACTLY how the company is performing and will have the same financial ...more

Pokerchamp, if I was a gambling man (Wait! I am!) - so I will continue long on NVS. This is a public company and shareholders should not have to put up with the take-it-or-leave-it option of "trust the board or probably sell". NVS has been a communications blackhole for 9 months. The company will have already failed hundreds, if not thousands of ...more
