Allon Therapeutics Inc > new offer?

new offer?

Looks like the market believes there won't be a higher bid...

I found this article dating MAY 31, 2013 : https://uk.reuters.com/article/us-cvtech-takeover/canadas-cvtech-says-it-rejected-takeover-bids-in-january-march-idUKBRE94U1A920130531

I don't know who the bidder was at the time but they were willing to pay $1.95 four years ago. The article says : "CVTech Group Inc CVT.TO, which provides services to electric utilities, said it had received and rejected multiple takeover offers from a New York Stock Exchange-listed electrical contractor".

Maybe one of these? https://seekingalpha.com/article/1060761-5-stocks-to-watch-in-power-grid-construction

$1.95 is pretty cheap when you compare to what some company was willing to pay 4 or 5 years ago.

Any toughts?

It is certainly worth a lot more than $1.95 - its a far better company now than it was 4 years ago. I am sitting tight and waiting it out. I don't need that cash and am really hoping for a bidding war. I just have no idea who else might be interested. I would have expect to see another offer by now though. Perhaps Christmas is not such a great time to get offers?

I agree with you. I think the price is cheap. I don't know when the present offer should be accepted. I find the volume low. People are keeping their shares, in my opinion. Hoping the first week of January could bring something ! Good luck !

Stephen Takacsy, from Lester Mangement, said to the journal les Affaires on Friday that he didn't sell his shares, still waiting for a better offer.  I sold 50 % of mine and wait for the other half. www.lesaffaires.com/bourse/analyses-de-titres/ce-gestionnaire-montrealais-a-le-flair-pour-reperer-des-proies-/599599

Thanks a lot for the link. Very interesting.  I kept all of my shares and bought some more in the last days of 2017 at 1.95. We'll see... Let's hope for a happy begining of year 2018! annegel

It is 11:00, and we can see a bid of 368 700 shares at 1.94 $     NPC 1.94 368,700 1.95 34,700   I can't imagine that somedody ( a big holder ) would be satisfied with a profit of .01. Yesterday, the volume was more than 600 000 !!!! I hold
