I think the expectations are a bit high in terms of what management would or should be sharing with us.  No company is going to make blanket forward looking statements and put themselves at risk should they not be able to attain those goals.  Recent news is exactly what it is... forward movement on an issue.  If you want to be so involved in a companies management you'll have to do more than buy a minority interest.
