RE:RE:skyrocketing earnings > deeply undervalued assetsAs to a buyout price, two things are important. One, the company will pay someone, most likely mostly under the table, to give a fairness opinion on the price being offered. Much like a house appraisal, they will start at that price and work backwards to make it look fair. That is why being paid under the table is handy. The other thing is the nuisance of multiple entities having 4.5 to $5+ target prices. Those have to be shown as foolish. This copper problem is nice. Maybe a strike or the government steps in and causes problems? In any case, it is a complete fraud but because the real money players see a chance to make a lot more money by shafting shareholders. Why share with retail when a few can make all the money. See Mart Resources for a good example of some crooks, aided by the government and with the regulatory authorities blessing, stealing valuable assets at prices well below any analysts target prices.
