Mining commenced with gold bearing ore producing revenues e.g. in 2011 of $548M and net income of $250M. In 2012 revenues of $566M with net income of $247M. Net income was as big as the revenue in 2016. Zinc layer is not even right under gold bearing but under a second, copper, layer. So, before starting mining gold and making tons of profit they should've dealt with potential problems with separating zinc from copper. Yeah, right on.
