Why the company would want to put a spotlight on this is beyond me.
Comment by stanjs on May 19, 2021 12:45am
The character of the accuser reveals it all.  Lee-Sheriff, according to her claim, invited Christman over to Golden Predator's conference booth to address his concerns but Christman allegedly "yelled at and publicly berated" her over the water licence, and when she walked away, made "sexist and gendered statements" to Sheriff, including telling him to get his wife ...more

It is not just a matter of increasing from $1m-$12m. It's about how the reverse happened in the first place. And you don't tell someone to "get your wife under control" unless she is out of control. The different versions is why there are lawsuits. As far as character is concerned, historically that isn't Lee-Sheriffs strong suit.
Comment by stanjs on May 19, 2021 10:35am
The accuser of wrongdoing is Christman, not Sheriffs.  The licenses are issued by the Department of Energy, Mineral and Resources, and should be signed by the Director. Therefore the Director should have complete responsibility for the assessment amount and the contents of the licenses, not Christman.  Christman did not agree with his professional opinion being edited, disagreeing with ...more

>  I would not be surprised if Golden Predator's Indigenous supporters started distancing themselves from this.< We'll see about it, because you are still projecting your opinions only without facts. Protecting the environment is indeed important.

If stanjs is Janet then stanjs's time would be better spent preparing her defense. This could ruin GPY and a lot of reputations as well.
Comment by Freezerburn on May 19, 2021 12:11pm
If protecting the environment is so important (and I absolutely believe it is) then why mine gold at all? On a scale of actual usefullness it's pretty much near the bottom and causes huge environmental damage.

...and that is my opinion as well. As I stated before I have no idea why the company would counter-sue and put a spotlight on this. It is an emotional, ego driven and very self-destructive response. Talk about knee jerk .......

Lol... am I Janet. .? I am a speculator betting on the Sheriffs and an old mine... this debate should lay out facts for readers to make up their minds about putting their money on the line or bail out from GPY.
Comment by easycoder on May 19, 2021 4:42pm
STanjs, what old mine? And why are you betting on Sheriffs? Do you think their current performance (or lack of) meaningless?
Comment by stanjs on May 20, 2021 5:26am
GPY is part of my strategy of investing in preconstruction mines that will go to production during the gold bull market.  At current share price, it buys you Brewery Creek Mine: 1. Mining licenses (but needs to be extended or updated) 2 NI-43101 resource estimate 3. Simple mining and production method (open pit heap leach) 4. "Social license"  (support from First Nation due to ...more

By the way, Covid reduced onsite work, and their contractor for the NI 43-101 report suffered backlog of work and delayed the completion too, and this was needed for the BFS.

stan, they're not making any fewer gullible souls,,  suggest researching the BULK SAMPLE promises
Comment by Freezerburn on May 20, 2021 11:07am
Well you've come to the right place if you like pre-construction. This company is permanently in pre-construction. In fact it should be called "Pre- Gold" And I'm not sure what the overall mining situation is in the Yukon, but in my area it is full on and has been for some time. Covid as an excuse for complete paralysis is kind of lame. Viva was obviously a bad match. All these ...more

Freezerburnt...you need to switch your investments..get out of the mining stocks and into the canadian cheese stocks...cause all you ever do is FN whine!  You are also a neanderthal..suggesting that  if Janet doesnt shut the heck up her husband should step in?? Holy man...dont trip over your knuckles!
Comment by Freezerburn on May 20, 2021 2:16pm
Right on cue, here come the fridge magnets. Superdum, how do I contact your husband so he can get you under control?
Comment by Freezerburn on May 20, 2021 2:37pm
By the way Superdum, start from the beginning and try to find where i suggested her husband should get her under control. I would never expect that to happen since it hasn't happened in the past decade or so.

My prediction:  Christman's civil suit for compensation: denied GPY's lawsuit: also denied.  But Yukon Govt will release statement: Brewery Creek Mine QML is still valid and no irregularities. The lawsuits are simply a distraction.
Comment by easycoder on May 28, 2021 10:55am
Distraction for whose benefit? Janet's hurt ego? Or GPY for constant chronic non delivery
