RE:POSSIBLE Centralized Digital CurrenciesMaybe in 50-100 years.   That transistion to digital would be brutal and would have to happen over many years.    Can you imagine the $5000 you forgot about that was stuffed in your sock is now worthless?  

If you're talking about bitcoin, that's another pathetic story.   Just imagine you ordering a burger at the drivethrough.   By the time you drive up to the 1st window, the price of your burger just went up 20%.   I dont' think so.
