Montney Update - It is happening
Really a lot of motney plays are established, Kakwa, Karr, Wapiti, Pipestone, etc
However now you are getting the bigger midcap players coming into the space, CPG, WhiteCap, Arc, and they are all looking for high volumes of liquids.
CPG + WCP just made their way into the space through acquisition and have had to do balance sheet repair over the last year to get things lined up. The montney is a high rent district with a much higher cost structure with better returns.
NVA has been playing in this sandbox for a while and is significantly ahead of these players, and next week could likely report the best quarter in Company History.
I think with the big players engagement with the montney and longer and bigger wells happening all the time, the Montney is now recognized as the place to be. I just saw a 4800 meter well with a total depth of 8100 meters drilled in the Duvernay. Longer and stronger wells are the future with better economics.
I am very excited to see NVA results next week, it could be a game changer for the company, and onward and upward.
