Digger,

I agree that something funny is going on and I will get to that it in a sec, but 2 things that we need to consider first.

First - it’s friday and most day traders will sell off their profits today and secondly there was the whole Sessions announcement in the US. In itself - it is not new news but did create a short term panic that is driving stock down. I anticipate a day in the red but it will bounce back Tuesday.

Now my thought on the whole ACB - Cannimed - Hip situation .....

What is ACB was slowly buying up both shares ? This would emphatically blow up the poison pill.
By raising the price of the HIP stock it becomes too valuable to accept the share swap for Cannimed and they would reject. Then if ACB was also acquiring more Cannimed they could also block the vote.

I suspect that there is more at work here - like the Danish developments and that the timing is just off for more impactful press releases.
