NEWSTRIKE ADVICE

I am currently an investor of newstrike and only own 1,500 shares so this cannimed take over does not benefit me at this time, so my question is should i sell now while it's high or hold on until the end of January. If i sell what i have now i can make some decent profit and maybe re-invest in "JUJU.A" which is currently an affordable stock @ $0.33 per share but preferably i hope the acquisition does not get approved as i would like to stick with "HIP".

Also i received my proxy information in the mail but was just wondering if iam able to submit my vote online somewhere or do i have to mail it in.

I am new to the stock market and would appreciate any advice or direction from an experienced investor.

Thanks in advance

I think you should wait until the end of the day to fully realize the trend here and then, take your decision.  My feeling is this stock will go up (even if it makes no sense), something weird is happening with this ACB CMED thing...

Digger, I agree that something funny is going on and I will get to that it in a sec, but 2 things that we need to consider first. First - it’s friday and most day traders will sell off their profits today and secondly there was the whole Sessions announcement in the US. In itself - it is not new news but did create a short term panic that is driving stock down. I anticipate a day in the red but ...more

It seems that Aurora, CMED, & Newstrike are all connected

Tough call, mate. First piece of advice is to be extremely careful of what you read and consider to be "advice" on this forum, mine included. Always make your OWN decision.... These forums are full of idiots, some by intention, others just by nature. On the topic of HIP, you really have to consider if you think they have a snowball's chance in hell of making it on their own. They ...more

Thanks for your opinion I will definitely make my own decision but wanted to get a feel for what everyone else was thinking in regards to the possible aquisition.

It's anyone's guess as to how the majority shareholders (presumably the directors) will vote on the HIP acquisition. Personally I'd rather have HIP continue on their own, there's more upside on that path. While I detest the way ACB is going about acquiring CMED, I don't love CMED mgmt either and don't feel the need to vote for the HIP acquisition just to save CMED ...more

I voted already online and voted for, HIP has the rec market and now with CMED they will have an angle into the medical market, even if rec is delayed(dont see it) they will have profit coming in from medical, IMO you vote yes to CMED and hold and you will make money, that license now means your in the game, if Jeff Sessions had not shot his mouth off yesterday the stocks would be much higher ...more

My feeling is that hip will reject cmed offer. Just like what acb said why on eart would cmed sign a supply agrrwmemt with hip if it will acquire hip this month? My guess is that behind closed door it is known that hip will not be merged to cmed, therefore plan b..suplly agreement.
Comment by camnewly88 on Jan 05, 2018 11:46am
Or HIP/UP will be so tied to CMED that they leave no choice but to accept HIP as part of the deal is plan-b and plan-a would be to make a partnership and have ACB walk away because thats what they said they would do.....HIP and CMED will be strong together and you have your insurance policy if rec is delayed your already making money on medical, it's a no brainer in my opinion.....I still ...more
