RE:RE:Hope someone starts a Class Action Lawsuit
Why would they say Yes? Correct me if I am wrong. Lets say I have 1000 shares of HIP. Right now it is worth $1590. If deal goes through 1000 shares = 33 shares of CMED x $24.58 =$811.14. I just lost $778.86 on 1000 shares. Fundamentally, Newstrike HIP.V gained tremendous credibility with this merger with CanniMed CMED.TO Read the sedar filings for both companies to get an idea for yourself. From my understanding, core shareholders who account for 58% of the Newstrike HIP shares have already said "Yes" to the Merger with Cannimed. In a December 12th 2017 Information Circular, Newstrike Management and Board recommend the approval of the merger and lists the following majority shareholders are supporting the agreement. Keep in mind the November share prices for HIP.V was below 50 cents and credibility increased in December to over 57 to surge to these euphoric highs of $3 total. I had a friend ask me what he should do I and told him to sell half of his HIP.V and make sure he had a stop loss for the rest because something is odd happening there with volume and apparent "painting the tape" to drive up the share price? Hopefully some more experienced traders can comment? But on the Newstrike HIP information circular, the following is provided as directors and majority owners supporting the deal: "The Newstrike Shareholders listed below have entered into voting support agreements, the form of which is attached as Schedule F to the Arrangement Agreement in Schedule D to this Information Circular and pursuant to which they have agreed to vote in favour of the Newstrike" Arrangement Resolution. Beneficial Newstrike Shareholder Number of Newstrike Shares Subject to Voting Support Agreements (1) 9580000 Canada Inc. 24,184,856 Beechhill Capital Corp. 10,431,632 Andrew Buck 1,438,112 Kevin Epp 564,797 Peter Hwang 15,039,349 Jennifer Maccarone 799,737 Jim Macpherson 782,372 Makaty Holdings Inc. 21,030,310 John Paul Morgan 10,515,151 Paradigm I Holdings Ltd. 7,190,799 Niklas Van Haeren 104,208,995 James (Jay) Wilgar 29,009,486 TOTAL : 225,195,596
