That c-45 news doesn't worry me in the least. For me the HIP band presence is simply un-neccessary window dressing. I was never very fond of the idea in the first place, my musical preferences aside. Newstrike needs to concentrate on what they are selling or get out of cannabis and into the music business if they want to make that their thing. I would like to see update after update from them to re-assure the investors of their "commitment to growth". Not just fluff either, but actual hard facts with updated timelines focussing on the companies readiness to enter the market. This means having facilities up and running and inventory in hand and an idea of where they will sell that inventory. Spirit Leaf might have been a good move, only time will tell, but they are also not the only game in town. HIKU,MEDMEN etc are also other avenues for sales and in my opinion much more interesting options. The NR of the first quarter results was a good start, but unfortunately they need to do much more if they want to be contenders in this race. The sector is just smoke and mirrors right now, someone needs to express themselves clearly with a focus on the product and without heaps of financial spin. Hopefully it can be Newstrike.
