Speculatory Rant - Alway looking for UP-portunities

Speculatory Rant - Alway looking for UP-portunities

Its Sunday evening and just reading over some posts and news.
I am not a professional analysts nor do I consider myself a day trader, or pro stock investor.  However sometimes I try to connect the dots.  Call it cloud shaping, hypothetical theories of what could happen, and what has happened, or... be it whatever.

So everyone on Friday night thinks Budweiser can be a potential partner with HIP, as Jay just splurted out an example about the beer industry and how many types of beer Bud has, to prove a point that they mainly focus on 5 strains of weed for now.  I'm not going to rule out that Bud might be a potential partner, but thought it might be a little too much everyone is reading into.  Actually it would be great that Bud has some type of involvement in HIP like Molson Coors did with Hydropothecar...  However I was looking at the news releases on Friday and thought to myself.  Jay is strategically planning something, as there will be exactly one month to go, before legalization, He basically said that he does not comment on any speculation nor I do I blame him, but the timing is just right.  The hype is here.  I think he already has his ducks in a row and waiting for everything to fall in place to shoot them down.  He did not rule out that the company is for sale, nor did he mention that there is any mergers or acquisitions, but simply said "...we always look at oppurtunities..."

Here is the link forward to 2:20 where he mentioned about opportunites :

After the BNN news interview the stock went up about 5 cents (which is good), on the same day they released in the evening :

"Newstrike Brands Ltd. (TSX-V: HIP) ("Newstrike"), is pleased to announce its wholly-owned subsidiary Up Cannabis Inc. ("Up Cannabis"), has been issued an amended licence from Health Canada to sell cannabis in dried marijuana form produced at its facility in Brantford, ON, from its facility in Niagara, ON, in accordance with Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations."

There seems to a be a lot of stuff Newstrike has to release in the upcoming weeks.  As another poster mentioned, Jay and the Board has pocket aces and so far it looks like one Ace is faced up.

Next in the news Tilray has cancelled their agreement with Namaste Technologies...hmmm
Namaste has been in the news quite a bit in last few weeks too.  Now that the supply agreement is cancelled and they dont seemed bothered about it, they basically said that business will continue as usual, and that they have other suppliers to meet there demands.  Seems that they have a very heavy web presence, and understand e-commerce very well.  Some speculate and believe that they will be the next amazon in the Cannabis world.  Sean Dolinger was also interviewed on Friday and also said something, that made me connect some dots.  He said, "...we are always listening and always for looking for opportunites..."

i think it might be coincidental, but they both were interviewed in the same day, and basically said similar things.  I just wouldn't be surprised that they already have something in the works together.  Considering HIP now has a license to sell medical marijuana and N is looking to get theirs.
They are both Tier 1 on the TSX and Namaste is looking to get uplisted to the NASDAQ.  I can see good things if these 2 companies get married.  Not to mention, Namaste has an app available that uses Artificial Intelligence, to help individuals document their usage and suggest strains to help them.  Guess what the name of the app is.....UPPY.   LOL.  Out of all the names, why UPPY?  Inquiring minds want to know.  Again this is just pure speculation.  I am a true believer in HIP and would like to see this stock do very well, not that because I am only invested in it, but they seem to be a true Canadian brand that stands above the rest, and they seem to be very low key and humble, they ignore the noise and keep going.

To finish the analogy of "Pocket Aces",
HIP is an ACE,
Namaste is an ACE,

now for the Flop :

Inner Spirit Holdings is a KING,
UP Cannabis is a KING,

and last but not least

Tragically Hip's partnership, supply agreements to 5 provinces, and the death anniversary of Gord Downie falls on the date OCT 17 for Legalization in Canada is a KING card

Which concludes that this whole thing will be a FULL HOUSE, and everyone who is "ALL IN", will stack their piles of chips and stand proud.

Can't wait to see what happens this upcoming week and weeks that follow :)

HIP baby! HIP baby!
