Totally agree. A first pass at trying to a M&A is short-listing who you are going to consider for a closer / more in-depth analysis. Unforunately I would bet that the HIP site was scanned over by more than one M&A shopper and they did not make the cut therefore were not contacted for any discussion on possible deals.

Newstrike should break their norm for once and actually come out with some sort of media coverage indicating that the site has been completely re-worked and long overdue updates to production capacity and market positioning are now available.

Maybe they could salvage some missed opportunities for a M or A they didn't even know they were considered for.
