Totally agree, pound the s/p down and accumulate as much from retail as possible. Big news can break anytime as it appears HIP may be in play. Most trading at these levels is orchestrated between aligned interests to create the appearance of capitulation, Sophisticated trading platforms show when retail blocks get dumped and then the accumulation takes advatage. Large float creates much ...more

I would agree that it's not a time to sell, better to be patient and buy blocks as cheap as possible. Selling now, especially at a loss, would be a mistake with qtr report coming out and the industry being so new

Just read that analysts expect canopy go have 85-87 million in revenue. I like to think that Newstrike will come in just under 20 million. They were sitting on 3000 kg just before legalization and shipped little out before oct 1 as we saw from last quarter.  I dont know what profits will be, but I do believe that HIP has not been as crazy as competition. But relative to revenue, I think that ...more

You are in the ballpark of what I was roughing out for numbers and yes, he did note that 3000kg in inventory so that too was in my calculations.  You have to take into account the expense for the expansion which can only be guessed at, maybe 2-3 mil? Anyhow I agree with the revenue number, should be somewhere in that area + / -

By remaining conservative I believe that 2500000 gram at the price of 6 dollards that will give us 15000000 of income. The prices sold from ACB was 6.23. We will see tonight what WEED will have as numbers. I expect 12000 kilos and income of 72000000.

3000 kg in inventory pre-legalization then (being conservative) apx 208 kg being made available from the existing facility during the period would give us 3208 kg (3,208,000g) @ $6 / gram (ACB noted $6.53 as their sell price) would yield $19,248,000 as a top line sales number.  If the sell price was as low as $4 /g we would see apx $12,832,000.  Taking the average of those two ranges ...more

Great to see the math but one question. Why only 208 kg? Their current production capacity is 12500 kg/year (2500 Brantford and 10000 Niagara, and they have produced for a while, so not 12500/4 or close too?
Comment by quinlash on Feb 14, 2019 11:18am
Opps.. that should have been 625 kg, my mistake... 2500kg annual / 12 * 3 = 625kg, so that range i tossed out was still low.  I am using the 2500 kg because that is what I see on the website, like I mentioned, I am being really conservative, I think my numbers are more on the bottom of the scale as to what it will be.  We could also go up to the most opmistic view then take an average... ...more

I thought it was 7 million. Regardless, they should show a profit. Small one anyway, or small loss

I can't see them having to spend that much this time , especially on marketing of all things . Another thing of interest is that Mr wilgar has not sold a single share all last year . I'd say he is either really wealthy, or believes in his company's dialogue like no one else. This is a millenial driven sector and it doesn't help that they hold onto info that should be updating the ...more
