Newstrike
NewstrikeSpoke with Richard briefly and confirmed the breccia is still open in all directions as well as at depth. I don't think people realize the magnitude of this discovery yet and are still waiting for confirmation from more drill holes. I completely agree with Caliche Ana Paula is one of a kind. Ana Paula is looking like Los Filos 2.0 but with a high-grade breccia kicker. The higher-grade starter pit aspect that the breccia adds to the property should significantly improve the economics for the first few years compared to the LOM cash costs. This makes the project even more attractive to majors as the IRR will be lowered with better project economics early on. To put things in perspective, Trelawney Mining reported a resource earlier this year of 4.2 Moz of gold at 1.0 g/t au in Ontario. This Resource Estimated helped them achieve a $600 million dollar market cap and the resource was based on a deposit with dimensions of 700 metres X 500 metres with up to 500 metre depths. NES began with a 600 metre X 400 metre structure and have since upgraded it to a 1,200 metre by 700 metre structure with the addition of the breccia discovery that Goldcorp weren't able to locate. To date NES is looking a structure almost double the size of Cote Lake which is Trelawney's flagship project. It is not difficult to realize Ana Paula is also much higher-grade than Trelawney's Cote Lake. Time will tell how many ounces are delineated at Ana Paula but I also agree with the Euro Pacific estimation of over 8 million ounces as the breccia likely contains 3 of the estimated 8 Moz and is still open in all directions.
