Big Fat Dividend

WHO ELSE is following this? According to Bigcharts - it's sporting a 52% Dividend and trades for 2.4 times earnings.... I like extreme value...

Does anyone have any idea how safe the dividend is?

I doubt if the dividened is safe right now, or if any dividened out there is, but this is a very interesting bottom feeding purchase.

Thanks for responding Rickathome - much appreciated - and I definitely agree it looks interesting. Let's analyze this puppy and decide if worth the risk. I figure - even if it were to cut the div by half - that's still 25% or so which you can't find easily. Have you purchased any yet? I just sold my DOW leveraged ETF for a nice profit - so am looking for something to deploy into... ...more

I did dip my toe in to this pond, but I'm glad I didn't take to big a bite.  I jumped into ANH instead.  Thier dividened was cut in half but still sits just over 13%.  Real Estate in New York may come back, but more slowly than less hit areas.
