AER licenses are good for 1 year from date of issue.  There is no penalty for not drilling well licenses other than the cost & work to re-license (which means updating the survey, H2S search, landowner title search and notifications).

BTW given the big success of the last two IBR HZ's I fully expect that these next 6 wells will get drilled between now and the end of Q1-19.  There will be production growth and with continued strength in oil prices the company will increase their pace of development until capital is entirely sustained from cashflow about 3 years from now.  When that happens IBR's stock price should be worth a minimum of $7.50 (from my calcs)...possibly much more (over $10) if gas prices take off from a couple more cold winters and oil is $90+ CDN.  "White Knight" tire kickers should take notice.  The proven upside value potential here is huge.  Patience will pay.
