Stock Looking to Get Back to 20-30 Cents Normal Range

It is somewhat clear by now that coming Q report numbers in a few weeks will be even better than the outstanding ones recently released. Results over the last year can easily be improved over the coming year. All sorts of reassuring calculations can now be done (profit per share, etc.).

And the gorilla in the corner, i.e. Nextleaf's tremendous patents value, is not taken into account yet.

Further improvement in the share price could be surprisingly easy now that the stock storyline is clear.

Sellers didn't wake up this morning! For days now all arrows are pointing up and up. Some traders like Anonymous tried to fuss a bit, hoping to buy back their shares a cent lower, but to no avail. Not only sentiment is the stock is way too low, but there is this end of Q report around the corner which can only confirm it. That the stock resisted Tuesday's meltdown was impressive; today ...more

Even 30 since seems like a joke considering all that this company is doing and how uniquely positioned it is to dominate the oils market. Remember, it is also supplying LPs with oils for their own products and so they are very trusted. They also have international patents. They can convert garbage to gold and produce a high quality product at an incredibly competitive price point. Even during a ...more

Even *30 cents* rather, seems undervalued

First quarter sales are just above 4 million dollars, reflecting the quarter over quarter growth and net profit remains at 25% annual profit with no more growth would be $4 million for this year. Valuation of 10 times the earnings would put us at around $.25. Not sure if the market will factor in the value of continued growth and patents which allow for the great margins.

Sorry, I should say IF first quarter sales are around $4 million

Even if so, that's not taking into account Nextleaf's unique position which suggests it will have more successful growth than other extractors. It's an already consistently profitable extractor, that's: hugely automated, has tiny overhead, produces extremely high quality extract from rubbish, has a very accessible and competitive price point, and that has brand recognition. It also ...more

The nice thing about this extraction technology is costs are fixed apart from input, and margins grow as output increases. I'd like to see it move up five cents a quarter and finish the year around $.40 The shareholder protection plan requires any takeover bid to pay double the share price. Would be nice to see an $.80 takeover this time next year

Pfft 0.80 takeover. No thanks. Let's see $5-10 and we'll chat. I hope they aren't bought out, or aren't for an incredibly long time after this appreciates. We're the ones who found this and put money into it early and waited for years. We should all be fairly rewarded (as should NL staff and families who bought in - which I believe many did).

Wow, sounds like Paul Peterson with his billion dollar valuation. What's your timeframe, sounds like long game, and American legalization factored in.

I like Paul as he helped build the company  I respect  him for that but now time for Emma to steer the ship and use the cannons to protect the patents.

D72-I agree with you 100%. Paul did his best. But like most companies the New Phase of growth and profits requires new leadership and a steady hand on the tiller. Emma brings both- BTW she is getting rave reviews from  her peers in the space.

I share the view that, AS IS, Nextleaf shares should be valued at about 40 cents. This is reasonably based on sales, dominant position and bright future. Nextleaf has great commercial success, but let's not forget that it is also a technological firm. Therefore coming full legalization of cannabis in the US needs to be factored in + Patents need to be fully monetized, either through ...more
