Hey Blue even though I am pretty much convinced that it will be TGZ I am not trying to convince anyone.  I am just giving you my honest opinion.  Unless OLE raises more money (which would be more dilutive) and continues to drill, they are not in the best position to negotiate.  They are basically out of cash and every single interested party knows this.  Any deal over $600 million or roughly $1.75 per share on or before Feb 2013 would really be a huge surprise to me.

On the other hand if they want to do a small raise of lets say $2 to $3 million early next year (which they can easily do even through a loan) just to keep the lights on may not be a terrible idea.  I see gold going significantly higher early in 2013 when the world finally comes to the realization that there is no easy fix to the global economic crisis.  If gold gets above $2000 and having some cash on hand to drag this on for a while would give management more leverage in negotiations.
