RE: RE: RE: Just as I expected...............

My scenario stays the same Arlene.  The deal will get done.  This will be a non event.  In a month no one will be talking about this.  All of this back and forth BS is to be expected.  Like you said gold will go up whether there is a deal now or in a week.  Once people realize that nothing has changed except the fact that our debt just continues to grow then gold will go up accordingly.

Trading on all of this fiscal cliff hype can be profitable but if and when the clueless traders bid this up (retail will buy while the pros get out) I would sell into any equity rally because not even 0% rates for several years now has gotten the economy going. The government keeps printing and buying back its own debt with money that did not exist yesterday.   The only solution is to stop the reckless government spending and somehow create millions of jobs.  Good luck with that.  All of this bodes well for gold in the future.
