many of us were dreaming here..

 

first i wonder if there ever were "talks with a potential suitor" could have just been a story... JMHO

also i was dreaming of a 1 to 1 swap with tgz... now wondering if it will be 2 OLE for 1 TGZ?

Top, I think that TGZ is still very interested in this property.  They are probably just grinding Chet on the price.

Tony---TGZ  ,if I remember correctly , acquired the bulk of their Ole shares "under the radar"........Also possible that some major like maybe African Barrick is now doing the same......(With the thought of taking out both Ole and TGZ )..... ...       Just a thought..............Majors desperately need to replenish reserves........We are now ...more

Arlene,where have you been my friend?  That is also a very plausible scenario.  We have discussed here in the past the fact that it would make perfect sense for a major to simultaneously take out both TGZ and OLE.  You are right about the fact that 5 million plus concessions are rare.  That is probably why they are trying to get as much as possible for the property. & ...more

Tony---    Have spent a fair amount of time in "sick bay" as well as caring for my great-grand-daugther... plus I was also probably one of those laughed off this board by being accused too many times of living in la la land and my opinions were pure fantasy....Yes I remember discussing the potential of both OLE & TGZ being taken out by some major ...more
