"Maya, thanks for an excellent summary of the situation. An observation of my own (part fact, part opinion): the market price of OLE seems to be saying that the chances of the deal going through are less than good; that OLE will drop more if it doesn't go through; and the chances of a higher bid are very low. So whether you buy or sell OLE now depends mainly on what you judge to be the chances of the deal going through. Some days ago I was seriously thinking of buying some OLE as a way of getting some TGZ at a discount. But fortunately I didn't, and I am now among those thinking the deal could easily fail for a number of reasons. Incidentally, and maybe off topic, I have been trading some TGZ for some EDV, which I think has been even more discounted. But I'm not betting much on gold in general, it could stay down and go lower."

I agree people are sitting back and watching.  Mean while the slump in the price of gold is pulling down the price of both TGZ and OLE just like it is every other gold producer.
