New options

I've mostly stopped looking at this site but an amendment to the options plan has been filed with the SEC if anyone is interested. Cheers

What's the positive possible outcome here? I'm a simpleton and have no clue what possibilities might come with this amendment. Thanks 2020

About the only thing we can say for sure is if it continues on this path they will be receiving a delisting letter soon. just the facts ma'am...  just the facts.

Canuckfan should stick to things he knows. ... and it's not anything about me or this stock....!!

I expected as such as if there is a deal in the works they need everything in place to issue now share and options awards before the deal is done for all the insiders to take advantage of this. What I find most interesting is what I found in the circular and look big time at the name. POWERS OF ATTORNEY Each person whose signature appears below constitutes and appoints Bradley G. Thompson and ...more

Just my humble opinion a few things. Brad Tompson has not been with ONC for over 5 years. Not sure what is being quoted, referred to etc. Secondly, just like the company using the ATM. The dillution mantra is a red herring. The only time share count would matter , would be on a buyout. Regarding our resident fool, proclaiming a delisting? As discussed.  Oncy would have to trade ...more

Hello Canada and you say you read every doc. Please go to the company website under investor and then filing and look at the latest filing and that is where the quote is from.
Comment by Noteable on Jun 04, 2024 1:13pm
I would speculate to say that such authorized Powers of Attorney over ONCY's BOD would serve to preclude any director/s on ONCY's BOG from objecting to the sale / acquisition of ONCY by a Big Pharma company, for example.
Comment by Noteable on Jun 04, 2024 1:16pm
Should read : " ... serve to preclude any director/s on ONCY's BOD from objecting  ..."
Comment by canadafan on Jun 04, 2024 7:44pm
Clearly read carefully the powe4 of attorney was relative to the option/ bonus amendment. Not All Onc business.
Comment by Noteable on Jun 04, 2024 8:18pm
Powers of Attorney are all encompassing, and go beyond just one issue.
Comment by canadafan on Jun 04, 2024 8:26pm
Why Brad tomoson?
Comment by Peladawn on Jun 04, 2024 8:32pm
Hard to believe as a co-founder of Oncolytics Biotech, regardless of being let go,  fired, quit, or what ever that he didn't retain at least some say in the company.
Comment by Noteable on Jun 04, 2024 8:39pm
Why Brad Thompson? Well he was an original founder with the best interests of the Company in mind, and a follow-on interest through the absolute sale/acquisition of ONCY.
Comment by canadafan on Jun 04, 2024 8:52pm
I could be wrong. I certainly agree with your best interst at heart. i think pre R/ S , Brad T had 5 million shares. that is a notable amount...
Comment by Noteable on Jun 04, 2024 8:55pm
Brad Thompson is still entitled to a small percentage of the sale price of the Company. So he is looking to exit like the rest of us.
Comment by itntdf on Jun 04, 2024 8:39pm
durable powers of attorney are in fact all encompasing, however not all powers of attorney are durable.  for example, one could grant a power of attorney to execute a real estate contract with no other authority.
Comment by Noteable on Jun 04, 2024 8:41pm
Powers of Attorney are essentially absolute.
Comment by itntdf on Jun 04, 2024 8:55pm
that's just not correct.  the named power of attorney can receive limited or absolute authority.  absolute authority in all matters would be a durable power of attorney. you seem to suggest that brad could sell matt's house and then direct that the proceeds of that sale be deposited into brad's account and matt would have no recourse.  or, brad to file papers to have ...more

Believe what you want. But Matt Coffey's house has nothing to do with what this POA encompasses.
Comment by 13X2413 on Jun 04, 2024 9:50pm
I sure hope this Brad Thompson issue wasn't a bad cut and paste job. Can you imagine the reputational hit this "company" would take!?

yes, and ALL THINGS WHICH NEED TO BE DONE are ONLY with respect to the registration of the documents described in the filing.  That's NOT everything in the world pertaining to those who assigned thompson and look to be their LIMITED poa. this is what you said that created this back and forth:  "Powers of Attorney are all encompassing, and go beyond just one issue." ...more

Trying to make a big story with this ... some here have time to lose or have time to twist in a bad way every move Oncy is doing! Fastrack you got it, we are here for the buyout or a lucrative partnership. GLTAL

And the stock price keeps going down..  Love all the "news"!!!

Good grief  canuckfan....  when you planning on defending ur dissertation?  FYI... there is nothing in there remotely new... SOS different  day..year..

I am fairly convinced that Brad Thompson's name on the filing (2024) is indeed an error.  Think for a moment about this legal document. All names of individuals are accompanied by further information reveailing their identies and associations with the company (director, CEO, etc).  And then we have an unknown individual (unknown to everyone except ONC historians), who is in no way ...more

If it is a mistake then the lawyers and auditors and every member on the bod and kirk look all messed up. Now that would be sad that no one caught that. And they get Paid for what, to rubber stamp. I guess we shall know soon enough.
Comment by Noteable on Jun 05, 2024 5:50pm
SEC filings very rarely contain errors, given that both a company's legal and audit companies review the information before signing off for submission to the SEC, as demonstrated in the attached the Exhibit Index accompanying ONCY's June 04, 2024 Form S-8 SEC filing. https://oncolyticsbiotech.com/investor-overview/filings/
Comment by Noteable on Jun 05, 2024 9:22am
Yes and ONCY's acquirer will be able do whatever it wants with Adlai Nortye.
