RE:Wow!

RE:Wow! caliche, thanks very much for the link to this most valuable Tweet.

Here's the message I get from this Tweet, including the fotos: for me, this is a great example of the adage, a picture is worth a 1000 words; where, if I was not working on the clock, I could here write those 1000 words about these VERY ENLIGHTENING FOTOS:

[1] traditionally, the most expensive, time-consuming and UNCERTAINTY-plagued part of the coring-assaying portion of the advanced exploration phase is the "FIELD" part where the company, with its geological and engineering staff, and their field equipment, must determine, efficiently, what portions of the gross core intervals are to be actually sent off to be assayed. Note: almost never --- for any number of reasons, but mostly because of time and money constraints --- are the FULL RETRIEVED CORE sent off for such expensive services .. so the geo-eng staff must be very careful in their field evaluations and interval selections.

[2] before the "modern era", when all such field evaluations were conducted by a field Megascopic Petrographer and his/her microscope, along with a few other tools, techniques, and tricks, regarding whether too much or too little of the total core was sent off for the costly and time-consuming assay process, there always remained a significant measure of uncertainty.

[3] yes, the fotos are quite instructive --- although I did not recognize all of the field lab tools --- but, in agreement with Adam's comments in his most recent Torry Hills Captal video --- regarding the tasks of their field geo-eng staff --- the OCO company appears to be using state-of-the-art equipment in order to ensure that they are getting a VERY GOOD field evaluation of the actual core mineralogy.

[4] to me, this translates to the most likely scenario that this field staff is NOT going to miss any MINERALOGY of signficance --- they might even be able to squeeze some blood from turnips --- so that I/we should have a VERY HIGH CONFIDENCE LEVEL in the accredited assay results; that is, that the field staff is able to IDENTIFY CORRECTLY the core intervals needing to be assayed and that the assayists, in turn, have identified fully the true mineralogical portions in each and every one of the core section intervals.

[5] further to the translation of what this means to me/us: even BEFORE the core sections go to assay, I SUSPECT that OCO will ESTIMATE down to a very good degree of precision, the ACTUAL Cu, Au, Ag, Mo and other percentages of commercial minerals contained within.

[6] toward that end, the ACCREDITED ASSAYS will be, IOW, the INDEPENDENT ASSAY of what, most likely, from their company field staff, OCO will ALREADY "KNOW".

[7] I have done such work on soft rock geology --- I am NO expert; certainly not with hard rock meg-pet work --- but, reading-listening between the lines from the last Torry Hills Capital interview, IT WAS CRYSTAL CLEAR: when Adam said that OCO kept drilling the full 800m and 1000m, for each of the respective two new completede core-holes, it was because they were ENCOUNTERING pretty much, from the historical data, what they were anticipating; where, further, it was clear that their field geo-eng staff --- not the ASSAYISTS --- were telling management IN REAL TIME [more or less], based on their on-site field analysis, what they were finding.

Message: BEFORE the company will get any OFFICIAL assay result --- that is, a month or two or whenever down the road after they send the core --- the company will already KNOW more or less what they have encountered. This is the advantage of the State-of-the-Art geo-staff and their tools; which sure seems like a well-spent investment.

[8] this is why, so far, I pay little attention to those retail commentors who were/are saying that they are frustrated because they will need to wait and wait and wait for the FINAL mineralogical analysis to come back from the assayists. [Along the way --- of course, there will be some significant waiting --- OCO will be able to release, at their discretion, based on their management strategy and decisions, some of the mineralogical info.

[9] alternatively, here's the way I look at this ongoing ONE-YEAR coring-assaying process: the company, within a day or two of RETRIEVING any core, will have analyzed mineralogically in some good measure of detail the full core ... and, most likely, within a few more days, they will have incorportated same into their "FINALIZED" FULL 3D geological model ... where, of course, OFFICIALLY, they will need to wait for the REAL finalized mineralogical results from the assay company ... and will use these assay results to "tweak" the ultimate REAL FINAL model.

[10] yeah, there are many other factors to consider here, but, for my investment model, I see the [a] number of rigs, the permitting, and, [c] the road-acces prep ... to be, if anything is, the real botteneck; where in the grand scheme of the Cu-exploration world, none of these factors are any kinds of "killers" ... not even close; where, as the saying goes, if you have the money, I have the time.

[11] IOW: I TRUST OCO management, with their prudent use of ample OCO cash resources --- and those resources yet to come --- to do the ENTIRE Advanced Exploration Phase job as it should be done properly ... as it BEST can be done.

[12] In OCO, aside from the interupted timing, we investors have exactly the kind of problem that we want: most likely, we have a MASSIVE WORLD CLASS Cu ore deposit about which the ONLY significant reason for delaying its offering for sale is that it has been found to have the POTENTIAL to be MASSIVELY larger than anticipated originally. I wish that I had a few other similar type problems; but, for now, I will settle for my longer-holding of OCO.

For those who have read thru my "1000" words, feel free to shoot off any questions.

PS:  a little bit of "inside baseball" --- it gave me a chuckle --- was to see in the first foto, the on-the-wall plumbing where every few tables, there is a water hose, --- and note the water on the floor --- each with a nozzle! Ha-ha! Now, for field meg-pet, that is a small thing but such is living in "the lap of luxury". I believe that OCO has set up a top-notch field operation.  A big congrats to whoever approved this ... and to those who made it happen.
