RE:Hedges are GOLD, at current prices....HUGE $$$$do you understand what a hedge is? They aren't "making 1.6b". its limiting their market loss. they will show a massive gain from hedging ( minus whatever the cost of the hedges were- which will be substancial given the market was already weak when they strapped on the second set of hedges) they will also record massive losses without the hedge.
Blows me away how little people know of the industry, but they are preaching advice to everyone.
You can't just shut off the flow. Anyone suggesting such action has no understanding of the mechanics of producing oil.
