LEADERSHIP STARTS AT THE TOP

LEADERSHIP STARTS AT THE TOP
After over a decade (two decades?) holding on to MDN stock I think I finally get it. MDN is not a real company. It is rather a hobby company. Started up by Serge Savard's father over half a century ago, it has never ever made money for its investors. I bought in at at time when things looked promising for an African gold mine and possible buy-out by Barrick Gold. Hah! That didn't materialize as did absolutely nothing ever since. I suspect that this company was always a pipe dream held by Serge Savard's dad. I am sure young Serge was told as he was growing up that one day he was going to be rich. Well thankfully young Serge turned out to be a talented hockey player although a somewhat less-talented hockey GM.He did get rich but not from mining gold! I further suspect that he has absolutely no notion that MDN will ever make anyone any money. He can't possibly be so stupid as to think otherwise. But it will be a fond memory for him of his dad. I wouldn't be surprised if MDN exploration plans have more to do with finding great sites for hunting or fishing camps to which the illustrious chairman of the board and directors of the company can repair for board meetings and on-site 'inspections.' The only reason now for me hanging on to this essentially valueless stock is to have a right to criticize! That and the fact that if I were to liquidate my holdings I would net out a less than zero! Bravo Serge! You may not know how to make money but you sure know how to spend it and somehow you keep getting more capital to trickle in as you further dilute shares! If only this company was half as good at finding gold as it is at finding little deposits of capital to consistently piss away. When comes the next dilution?
