North American Palladium Ltd (New) PALDF

North American Palladium Ltd is a precious metal mining company. The company operates the Lac des Iles palladium mine located in Ontario, Canada, which is one of only two primary producers of palladium in the world. 2 things I would rather not see in a Q3 release

2 things I would rather not see in a Q3 release"The net loss for the quarter ended September 30, 2009 was $6.2 million or
.06 per share compared to a net loss of $71.2 million or
.85 per share in the third quarter last year".  "There was no palladium production for the quarter ended September 30, 2009, as compared to 63,791 ounces in the third quarter last year due to the Lac des Iles ("LDI") mine being on care and maintenance during the quarter." But at least with the gold production they should keep plugging ahead. Nice to see the 3.00 again despite being short lived yesterday.
