That conspiracy post doesn't make any sense. Unless Brookfield is expecting a competing bid to show up. In the meantime I'm the guy wearing the brown paper bag on my head :-)) .

If there was another suitor in the wings, why wouldn't they be scooping up as many retail shares as possible and then offering, say, $25 per share to Brookfield. They'd be lowering their cost ...more

Why wouldn't Brookfield be buying on the open market now. They'd probably be getting the$19.75 price or almost $4 over what they agreed to sell at $16. I'm sure that their agreement  ...more

Bid to be very possible, I cant see PDL being let go at 19 bucks. Yes it may have moved up however it is propietary and remains really quite cheap.......it gushes cash . Brookfield made the nice early ...more

just think where we would be in a free market...our stock would be up at least another point or more...IMPLATS is laughing all the way to the bank...they stole our stock...still cant get over this ...more

Goldbug52,  given that we are moving toward electric and or hybrid vehicles,  PD will not be at investment for the future.  Any metals used for electic cars are the future... I have ...more
