The 45 day timeline for Ministers to make a decision of whether or not to issue an Environmental Assessment Certificate ended January 31, 2022. The Morrison Mine decision timeline will be retroactively extended to allow for a thorough consideration. This is permitted under section 24(4) of the Environmental Assessment Act (2002).
