Q Results

Slight beat of concensus, not bad consideing the wild fires ect. Guidance firmed. Div safe. Solid but also no surprises

That's interesting. RBC sure doesn;t see it that way. Here's part of their report. Is RBC's "quick take" rating indicated at the top still "Outperform and $58 TP" or might that be under review?

Not an eye of a chance that PPL will reach $58 lol. $58 when? In 3 OR 4 years time MAYBE! Imo....lucky if this reaches $48 + by years end. If I'm wrong then I'm wrong but that's my bet. IT was an " ok " report. Lease the dividend is solid. That's about all.

I saw consensus EPS of 0.59 of 11 analysts, vs the actual 0.60

Most likely we'll see a pull back in PPL shares Friday due to its earnings miss. I have Cash at hand and I already have enough in this so I'll sit back and watch how this unfolds before I consider buying more. No rush...

It's probably remain lacklustrous for a little while. Enbridge reported great results. US jobs and economy look good. The macro environment is not as bad. Probably won't benefit from high bond yields

I agree with you comment. Friday was a good day, but, I think reality will set back in and we'll have another chance to buy at cheaper prices. I think anyway. I'm holding off because I confident this will pull back.
