So far, it seems to me, long time shareholders have not been rewarded much if at all? Does the market need more time to digest this complex deal? I hope so. So far I might have been happier with a $50m dividend payout to existing shareholders. Nice to see that the cash won't remain idle for long, but it looks as if we have not monetized any value on Martison to speak of. Rather the cash has been handed over to the Oil & Gas industry which although many have stated is invested at depressed values, others will view this sector as "dead money" for the next few years at least. Can't believe that we couldn't find a public company willing to give us at least the cash value per share...especially with tax losses and future potential on the partially worked land holdings. Instead we get an "implied value" that is untested in the market. So far, count me as unimpressed. Hope the market and I are "missing" something. MM
