The February 2016 B.C. land sale held this week produced $0 in bonus bids for the province.

Of seven parcels, four received no bids or no acceptable bids and three were withdrawn. The province is on course to set a 38-year low in fiscal-year bonus bid revenue. There is one more sale left — scheduled for March — in 2015/2016 to avoid this.

“I don’t recall ever seeing $0 before,” said Brad Hayes, president of Petrel Robertson Consulting Ltd.
