RE:RE:RE:A better deal would beYes, insider buying lying. The IR line about the lack of insider buying due to blackouts is a huge flag, after the fact.

The truth about the secretive strategic review, however, is that if it were public, shareholders would not be looking at a cash offer of $.69 now. Sad but true.

This story is about shareholders that believed the long term global strategy of tremendous reserve value while the strategic basis for developing those reserves changed on a national agenda of eliminating carbon from the economy. The risk profile changed on an incremental basis that negated reserves value in favour of blow down cash flow.

If the federal government had not actively plotted to kill the industry, lender confidence in the value of long term reserves could provide the liquidity to support the industry through this present low.
