Storage vs 5yr average

I went back to may 12 it 2as 20.5% above now 9 weeks later were 15.9% above. That's .51% per week and with 15 weeks left that would trim 7.6% off the 5yr to hit 8.2% above the 5 year . Or 3969bcf.

There is no logic to NYMEX pricing any more . Production continues to drop , capex is becoming nonexistant and injections have been less than predicted for the past 3 weeks yet prices remain under pressure . I guess NY is right , nobody will ever need nat gas again ..... ever !!!

Interest in this sector has become non existent, too many small caps , we need some major M and A activity. I hold Pony, Crew , Birchcliff and a little Arc , volume has all but dried up, once these guys get there bank credits done start merging and cut out duplicated management positions.

I think it's a coiled spring with longs sick of being bit so playing it safe. Europe storage looks better than ours (based on looking like it should need some gas by sept oct) I have a feeling when we have LNG + demand + low production (winter) the spring will unwind. But now my concern is if people think 2$ gas is normal 1.50$ low does that make them think 2.75 is high??? If so 2022 could be ...more
