Tax-Free Savings Account (TFSA) Overview: For 2015 and subsequent calendar years, the budget proposes to increase the annual contribution limit for a TFSA to $10,000. In addition, the annual contribution limit will no longer be indexed to inflation. Currently, the annual contribution limit for a TFSA is $5,500 for the 2015 calendar year. The limit is indexed annually, and rounded to the nearest increment of $500. For 2015 and subsequent calendar years, the budget proposes to increase the annual contribution limit to $10,000. The annual contribution limit will no longer be indexed to inflation.
