RE: News ! CH-1 Coarse diamonds

RE: News ! CH-1 Coarse diamondsI've believed all along that CH-1 still had massive potential. If you look back at the results from late 2009/early 2010, you can see that the best results came from phases of the kimberlite that were not bulk tested. Also, the bulk sample was taken from surface, and is very likely not representative of the whole complex body. They mentioned in the NR that they weren't going to pursue CH-1 any further until after 2011, but I hope that they make it a higher priority.

Despite the bashers and naysayers, I personally believe that 2010 was a successful year. CH-7 is amazing. CH-1 has great potential. CH-6 has confirmed the potential shown in 2009/10. CH-44 is the next most interesting kimberlite to me, unless a mini-bulk sample from CH-31 this year shows a better distribution than suggested by the microdiamond sample.

To me, this play still has bluesky potential. However, in my mind, the pressure will really be on for 2011. It could be the best diamond field seen in 15 years, but if it takes us another 5 years of dilution to determine that, then it's not really going to hurt our upside.

I have been out of the loop for the last little bit - I've taken a research job out west and my life is now immersed in modeling oil & gas. Did anyone see any results from their re-testing of other kimberlites from 2009? (I believe CH-9, CH-16? Can't remember off the top of my head, but at least 2 other kimberlites, other than CH-1 and CH-12, were sampled again)

This looks like a GREAT opportunity to buy back the shares I sold on the spike up after CH-6 results! :D
