Was thought to be at 1.04cpt, caustics showing potential to be as high as CH-6 (2.58cpt) in areas.
So before calculations would be that CH-7 = an additional 3.7-6million carats now that could be different
3.7-6million carats at 1.04cpt before
6.62-10.74 million carats at 1.81(half the difference between the CH-7 & CH-6 results)
9.54-15.48 million carats at 2.58cpt(CH-6 levels)
Even at $100 per carat that translates into a potential increase to the project of low end: $300-948-million. It is REALLY incredible news that CH-7 could potentially SURPAS CH-6 in CPT.
