Psychologists say that your brain remembers the sensation that an action created and will try to recreate it or avoid it and that's why you do something against your judgement in trading. I think a lot of us are still controlled by anger and the ones ready to do anything are selling, the rest are holding, definitely not buying.
Getting expectations up is bad because it creates more roadblocks, no matter how people feel about that.
Once the sentiment follows the fundamentals we might see exhuberance again like 2006 and 2009. Once I see that, I will dump all of this and never look back again.
