RE:RE:RE:RE:Risk at Chidliak?Having lived here  most of my life it is obvious that the deep port is not essential.  They have been offloading heavy equipment and such for years without a deepwater port and without issue.  A deep water port would help speed up the process though.

There are at least three capable escavating companies in Iqaluit who have their own gear already in Iqaluit, if the construction of the road were to be contracted out.  So road work could begin almost immediately after the funding is esablished.
