Tommyboy was quoted at SI by Ollie that it would be another 7 years before they would start building a mine, and they were flat broke, looking for 25 mil for a "pre" FS. If big bro was tired of little guy's hand out looking for more, and would have to wait another 7 years, it makes sense he could have told him to go back to Debeers with hat in hand. Market never liked Chidliak, saw the huge dilution ahead, funny how the NR talked about further dilution when "rights are not dilutive", lol, and viola, here we are.... don't think I would take LUC paper, doubt if bobby would either, Rio is about the only hope, Washington could offer Debeers a few mil for DO27, Debeers will do nothing with it and would be happy to take a few mil for it, despite the longs claim it is worth more. Would Rio offer another 50/100 mil, then have to spend 500/600 to get Chidliak to a mine? For the current PEA? Knowing PEA's are typically viewed through rose colored glasses? Doubt it. Think DeBeers doubts it as well. Long longs will think they have been cheated, understandable when you have put so much time, effort and money into PGD, traders are happy, Debeers is happy, so far, they have a history of being disappointed, and I am thinking bobbieboy is breathng easier now that he has a monkey off his back. Think about it, if Robert wanted to be in diamonds, he could have had this for what longs consider here as his pocket change, he didn't, I now think he never did, was only helping out his kid brother because he could, and that is what big bros do, he gets out clean, with a small profit, and with hugs and with a tiny outside chance of more, only 5 weeks till Sept.
