I have assumed that any NDA or CA's included language to basically become voided once the De Beers bid became public. Maybe I am wrong. I believe De Beers has banned access to the dataroom with this arrangement unless they get permission.

It was interesting going through the big document. If I interpret the lingo correctly, the minute a Superior bid is officially stamped as superior by the PGD board, De Beers has 3 days to destroy everything it has obtained from the Data room.
That tells me that they may have access to the BHP database already...but have to destroy every bit of information on their network if they don't succeed in the bidding process.
