From Will

Eric Friedland and Tom Peregoodoff's Peregrine Diamonds Ltd. (PGD) fell five cents to 33 cents on 688,000 shares. Peregrine's mini-bulk sample of three Chidliak kimberlites is in full swing but the plan has changed somewhat. Last fall Mr. Peregoodoff, CEO, said Peregrine planned to extract about 250 kimberlites from each of CH-6, CH-7 and CH-44, the top three pipes at Chidliak, on Baffin Island. The company is now putting most of its effort into CH-7 so it can declare a resource for the pipe. (CH-6, the best Chidliak pipe, received a significant bulk sample in 2013 and the company produced a resource estimate last year.)

Very interesting and probably a good move!

Looks like we have lost the trifecta status on all fronts. The investor trifecta is officially no longer (Ned has been removed). The kimberlite trifecta sounds like it is keying in on the 2 pipes. 2 reasons: 1 - CH-44 will add the mine life to the project...but because it will be late in the mine cycle, it will have the least effect on NPV  (largest discount)...so isn't a key driver ...more

What do you mean when you say "Ned has been removed", Mike? Alas, I must've missed this.

Ned is no longer a holder or control of > 10% of shares therefore we dont know how many shares he owns. Anywhere between 0 shares and 28 million. He is completely undisclosed now. Ekim

Not enough for ned to take part of the trifecta circuit, but still a reasonable amount. In fact on par with sh investors.ekim

Where is Will getting this info? Isn't it material and therefore require an NR?
