Robert Friedland's Ivanhoe Energy was more of a propriety technology company as opposed to a commodity company. That failed in the end...but I suspect any patents/etc. are still owned by Robert. That experience may have also kept HPX as a private company going forward indefinately. It is basically another propriety technology company. Keep it private and use the technology inter-company

The equipment for the summer project is all at site. They need $$$, but its not more than $10M. Diamonds are terrible because we are in a terrible market for diamonds - partially (but not entirely) due to India. They will need to raise some money - that is or sure. We got time and its not that bit a push.

longs have to really start to wonder why there has been no financing for summer program, June is only a few weeks away and then a few weeks more,  the days start to get shorter.  Work could have started by now, no reason to delay the work and financing unless the summers program, like the winter program, was never really going to happen.  Good luck.

I was one who was certain that the winter program was a go and happy to eat crow. It's a hard story to get a handle on because there are so many moving parts for the insiders beyond just PGD...while the Board is in place

The truth is that the only positive announcement for us would be about a partner. They said a couple of weeks ago that the discussions were coming to an end, so I am guessing we will know soon. Cudjo is not missing anything. No real move will be made until we know more or time will run out. Everyone is waiting for some kind of resolution. The problem is that there is only one that will not end in bloodbath. A partner. Any other solution will bring crying.

I agree Mill. I well financed partner is what turns a project into a mine. There are dozens of projects waiting on that partner to make things happen. In my estimation; PGD is amongst the best in-so-far as NPV, bluesky exploration potential, geopolitical risk etc. We will see a mine.

Cudjo, your memory is correct about the "news" of a winter program, as I believe there was no formal NR from the company but an article in which it was mentioned by a certain person who seems to have been demoted to some extent....just a coincidence?
