That interview was made available online about 5 or 6 days ago. The presentation was given by Robert Friedland on May 9th, 2017 in London -- Canadian Mining Symposium If you listen carefully to the part Madmann said to listen to...you will here Robert briefly say... "This is a diamond related audience." Subtle, but it is there and he uses that as a reason to give the diamond example. ...more

Could be. I listened to it a couple of times. It was very subtle. If any mining audience has a diamond flavour to it..London would be high up on that list. LONG...PGD EKIM

Absolutely! RF is hinting at how this technology applies to diamonds specifically. This flavor (while not his favorite) was his first choice as an appropriate tech example. Hmm, wonder why RF would suggest that (CH-7 Chidliak) diamond breakage is basically a moot point...

The way it sounds like..Diamond is a perfect example because of the technology because of the mostly guaranteed different between the SG of Diamond and the kimberlite material. for Chidliak, the SG of kimberlite ranges between 2.5 and 2.7 and the SG of diamonds sit at 3.5. He also references diamond at the top of the hardness scale...so not sure if that plays apart in it. Sounds like it is more ...more
