Where did evryone go?

Not a single post today.

I suspect the drilling program as I know they have had snow on the ground in that region for a few days now.

Not sure if they sent the drilling sample to the SRC in multiple batches or one or two big batches at the end.

Either way...the SRC should have or be nearly in possesion of the drilling samples.
Looking forward to the results in the high grade zone that went straight through the pipe. More intersested in how they interptet the boundaries between the high grade and regular grade down to 500 metres. That high grade kimberlite is going to be selectively mined first in an underground scenario. Basically $1000 per tonne ore.

Only 4 drillholes to date released...I'm guessing anywhere between 6 to 11 to be released.  11 would be nice...but might be too optistic.  Remember to date, they have focused on drilling to an indicated tonnage/volume level. They are headed to a PEA update..so if they fall short of that...they can still lean on an inferred tonnage/volume level at depth.

A bit ironic that Grutter and Pell are in botswana right now (with the every 4 year kimberlite conference) at the same time....PGD basically drops the Botswana exploration project in exchange for a royalty.

LONG...PGD

I know I'm breaking my promise not to post. Mike, how did you know that they were in Botswana at the conference? thx
Comment by ekim on Sep 19, 2017 2:08pm
I knew 6 months ago when they posted all the abstracts for the conference. I posted on the events timeline on the blog months ago. Made a couple updates along the way. It is literally a melting pot of a couple hundred PHD's who know almost everything about kimberlites and they get together and chatter to each other. Conference happens every 4 years.  Very heavily technical focused. Not ...more

Here is the linto the events timeline --> Chidliak timeline. It is by no means static and I update it as time unfolds. LONG...PGD EKIM

Interesting though if you go their website right now, it shows no upcoming events, so that is why I asked. Thx

Okay mine all diamonds from Ch-6 & other pipes worth $20B (100 million carats) after expenses and lock them in a room, why is that not $40/shr based on current shrs outstanding ...
Comment by mill44 on Sep 19, 2017 3:10pm
Yet most people would be extatic to see this trade at 40c/shr.
Comment by cudjo on Sep 19, 2017 5:23pm
if they get a partner you could see 40 c/shr, won't know if a partner would be remotely interested until we see diamond results
Comment by racer-x on Sep 19, 2017 5:51pm
The partner will buy existing shares to get 40%+ position then fund and carry us thru feasibility and construction, that's why DW bought DDC instead at the time as about same cost, but now DDC buys PGD cssh flow positive in two years uses that to buy out RTC and maybe SWY or others ...
Comment by mill44 on Sep 19, 2017 7:49pm
And how will the partner buy 40%? Unless the Friedlands give their position up, the company has no control over other existing shares. They could buy on the open market, but as soon as they reach 10%, it will be reported. we would know for sure, even if it would not be obvious to us before that. The company can offer up a portion of the project to a partner only through dilution.
Comment by racer-x on Sep 20, 2017 9:19am
If they offer $1/shr you don't think they could buy 40-50% on the open market?
Comment by cudjo on Sep 20, 2017 10:00am
racer, why would anyone sell at a buck when your telling them this is a no brainer 40 dollar stock?
Comment by racer-x on Sep 20, 2017 10:11am
They are selling now for less than a buck and do not have $1/shr to kick in to construct the mine. The diamonds are not in the room locked up yet so no $40/shr, have to wait 15 to 30 years for that.
Comment by cudjo on Sep 20, 2017 11:59am
at least you have a dream, 15 to 30 years out beats all the pumperdumperdoodledoers slim posts from others saying this will be a 20/40 bagger within months... I wish you well, best of luck with your investing.
Comment by mill44 on Sep 20, 2017 11:25am
If they want to buy 40-50% of the shares on the open market, they might as well make a deal with the Friedlands to take the company private. That way they will get the shares for sure.
Comment by racer-x on Sep 20, 2017 11:59am
Goes private discount future $40/shr give me $5/shr today
Comment by mill44 on Sep 20, 2017 12:21pm
And why would they give you 5$ for your shares when most will give theirs up for way less? Just let it sink in that it will cost people 1$/sh to build the mine and see who holds on to their shares. How many are willing or capable of shelling that kind of money out? Like I said, you want to do what the Friedlands do, you better have the means they have.
Comment by ekim on Sep 20, 2017 12:55pm
Interesting metric Mill. It costs PGD shareholders $1 to build the mine at Chidliak. It costs SGF shareholders $5 to build the mine in Sask. LONG...PGD EKIM
Comment by mill44 on Sep 20, 2017 1:40pm
There is no way that by now you don't see a good chance that the mine on Chidliak will be financed by the shareholders. SGF shareholders on the other hand will get money from other entities if the mine is going to be built. You hold 500k shares in SGF, they can sit in your account for 10-15 years, it won't cost anything. You hold PGD till the end and you might have to pony up a lot of ...more

Last guy in there was Freuchen 1934, 5th Thule Expedition at site of Ch-6 where he froze his foot (old pegleg). On reverse dust cover of his book picture of him and wife Dagmar, she's wearing bracelet and ring made of 5 ct diamonds. He ran the government Trading Post at Thule, must have been paid well ????
