Technicals

50 day moving average about to cross the 200 dma. https://stockcharts.com/c-sc/sc?s=PGD.TO&p=D&b=5&g=0&i=t50322764795&r=1520984513955

If you are looking at technicals, there are a few things worth noticing beside that. The slope of the 200 DMA, the distance of today's close from the 20 dma, the huge resistance right above... you do need the news about a deal to say that it is smooth sailing ahead for the longs.

If you are a betting man, it sure looks like the place to pick a side. Everything I look at indicates that as Tom said, this will be a big year for Pgd.I am not saying winning, but decisive for sure.

Mill doesn’t make predictions, right?  So what this? If you are a betting man, it sure looks like the place to pick a side. Everything I look at indicates that as Tom said, this will be a big year for Pgd.I am not saying winning, but decisive for sure.

Madmann, I don't know if it will come through on a free chart, but I updated the link to show a 10 year period. If it does not show properly, you can still see the longer trend line, the bottom one, that connects the all time highs to the more recent ones. You can see that the lows of Sep, Oct could be considered a retest of that trend line after it was broken to the upside. That is another ...more

Why would you post a chart as a next step for bulls, if all of a sudden you believe that’s its going to be news that drives the SP?   Gee, can it be both?
Comment by mill44 on Mar 14, 2018 12:41am
Maybe I am like you (god I hope not), Kodiboy. You know by now that very few people find anything of any value in your posts, yet you keep posting. So why not me?

Who said I don’t want you to post?  Where would I get all my good material? At least I’m consistently consistent...you’re preaching two investing strategies in the same post or consecutive posts! One you are touting charts and technicals...then on to news driving the SP of the stock. Which is it when it comes to spec stocks?  News or charting to make your trading decisions?

If anyone has been here for awhile, they will recognize this topic of discussion with Mill before, the news driving VS charting technicals for the SP,  with the same result... I can see Mill, sitting on the toilet ringing his hands together when someone mentions technicals or charting here because he loves that for his decision making process in trading SPEC stocks...gee, I guess that’s not ...more

Huh, Mill admitting, finally, that this spec stocks SP is driven by news, and charting not really applies? Hallelujah....Hallelujah....

Here you go, Kodiboy. I will post it again, maybe this time you will actually read a post before you comment on it. If you are looking at technicals, there are a few things worth noticing beside that. The slope of the 200 DMA, the distance of today's close from the 20 dma, the huge resistance right above... you do need the news about a deal to say that it is smooth sailing ahead for the longs.

Huh? You just made my point, twice! How many times have you said that you use technicals?  Even for spec stocks and always fought the idea that what makes a spec stock move is not news, but technicals?   That’s how you were buying PGD, yes, no?
